App that offers tips while playing Shadow of Mordor

Every gamer has experienced the pain and hardship of being stuck on a level in a video game. After so many tries, you have given up on the game completely. Or in the case of Candy Crush, at least until your resolve caves in and the timer is up.

Usually when we feel deterred from our mission or objective in the game, we tend to call it quits. Then comes the long awaited fit of anger. This of course consists of us using curse words that the neighbors can hear from a mile away. Hell hath no fury like a gamer scorned. Trust me, it’s not pretty.

After the neighbors finish calling up to your apartment (it’s always an apartment) and complaining about the noise and curses. Or in some cases, cursing you out and threatening you, you are finally able to come down. The problem is that you still can’t get past the gaming obstacle. What’s a gamer to do?

Well, our hardships may finally be over with this new app. The app is called the Palantir. The name is supposed to pay homage to the networked seeing stones from the Lord of the Rings franchise. See what you learn from just reading a blog post.

Ok, basically the app works with you to get past any difficult parts of the game. Because everyone knows that, “One does not simply walk into Mordor”.

What happens is that the app listens to you playing the game and then when needed, the app will look up useful tips and walkthroughs for you. The app is able to do this feature by using the audio-sync technology to deliver help to your rescue. No gamer is ever left behind.

The app was created by Wikia Inc. Makes sense since that site is where the app is getting the helpful information.  The point of Wikia is for a place to host vast reserves of lore, guides and minutia for games and pop culture. Let’s be honest, Wikia is where every gamer goes when every strategy we think of false when playing a game. Wikia is also the place to go when you want to find collectibles.

Unfortunately for Lord of the Ring lovers, the app doesn’t have a release date as of now. But, below is a gameplay trailer of what the app can do to placate you. The video will tell you what the objective of the game is and will also give you a sneak peak of how the graphics look. Hint: AMAZING!!!
