Good Day and thank you all for reading the first edition of “It’s A Tech World After All.” This will be my personal accounts of technology that I have either encountered or read about during the week. Please enjoy.
Gunnar Gaming Glasses
I have mentioned before that I am not a hardcore gamer by any standard. I do however work in a business enviroment and stare at computer screens for extended amounts of time. I also have a history of headaches and migraines. This is important information because one cause amongst chronic migraine sufferers is that they stare at computer screens for work. It not only affects the head, constantly being glued to the screen also dries out the eyes, and makes you tired. Enter GUNNAR GLASSES (Da-da-da-daaaaa)! I have been using a pair for three months now and I will say from first hand experience my headaches at work have all but disapeared. I don’t feel as tired, and have not had to use eye-drops either. These glasses have really helped me. The next question, yes I have used them for night gaming and it really takes the strain off of your eyes. I would suggest these to anyone that wants to game harder or just be able to sit through work without using Excedrine constantly.
Moxie Shower Head with Bluetooth
I’m sure everyone has at sometime belted out their favorite N’Sync song in the shower. Well now rocking out in the porcelain stage is made easier due to the Moxie Shower Head. No longer is there a need to crank a radio up or let your favorite electronics get water damaged by steam(yes it does happen), the sound comes from the shower head. It can supply you hours of stage time whether you shower solo or try a duet.
This nifty little device allows you to track how much water you are using while taking a shower. It utilizes flashing lights to identify when you should start shutting down the water.
Gigabyte Brix II Gaming Computer
Smaller than a 360 controller, this pint sized gaming system packs a punch. It is a “bare-bones” system utilizing Intel’s 65W Iris Pro Graphics Chip. It has HDMI and HDMI mini DisplayPort output, 4 USB 3.0 ports, a Gigabyte Ethernet port, built in Wi-Fi, and a 3.5mm audio jack in the front. You need to supply your own 2.5 HDD, memory, and OS. It should run between $499-599 and be shipped out around the holidays.
Hyperkin Retron 5
This new game system combines ten, what’s that? Yes, TEN, classic game consoles in one machine. Including: NES, Famicon, Super NES, Super Famicon, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, Sega Mega Drive, Game Boy Original, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advanced. This awesome product will be available December 10th for $99.99. I will be looking into buying this just to pull out Gen 1 Poke’mon games for the big screen.
The fix to your extension cord problems everywhere! The flexible neck allows it to wrap around railings, tables, and ladders to prevent the cord hanging and you tripping over it.
This nifty gadget protects you from the low levels of radiation emitting from your cell phone while you sleep. The tube reflects 75% of the radiation and still allows you to hear your alarm and access your phone easily.
Thats all for this week, stay tuned and please comment.
